Reporting a stolen bicycle

It is very important that you report your bicycle as stolen so SPVG can investigate and share the information about it with other police forces. You will also need a report to file an insurance claim and to get your bicycle back if it is found by another police force. Finally, those reports are used to track incidents for statistical purposes and design measures to prevent and counter crime. Follow these steps to report a stolen bicycle:

Step 1:

Start an alert on your bike on the 529 Garage website or app.

If your bike isn't registered, register it first with all the information that you have about your bike, and then start the alert.
